TradePilot ("TradePilot", "we", "us") provides software that helps small trades and service businesses schedule jobs, manage customers, and send quotes and invoices, available at app.gettradepilot.net and as an iOS app. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using TradePilot you agree to this policy.

We share data only with providers that help us run TradePilot, under agreements that require them to protect it. We do not sell your personal information.

Some providers are located in the United States, so your information may be processed outside Canada.
Card and payment details are handled directly by Apple or Stripe under their own terms and privacy policies. When you use TradePilot's Stripe Connect feature to collect payments from your customers, those payments are processed by Stripe on your behalf.
The customer, job, quote, and invoice data you enter is your business's data. We process it only to provide the service to you. You can export, edit, or delete it in the app.
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account in the app, we delete your workspace data and disable your login. Limited records may be retained where required for legal, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes. We keep a record that an email address has used a free trial to prevent repeat trials.
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (TLS), verified authentication tokens, and per-account data isolation. No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
TradePilot is a business tool not directed to children and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
TradePilot only texts a business's customer when that customer has opted in through the business's public TradePilot quote-request form (by checking the consent box, which discloses the message types, that frequency varies, that message & data rates may apply, and how to opt out with STOP/HELP). We record that opt-in as proof of consent. We use the customer's mobile number only to deliver the transactional messages the business sends — appointment confirmations and reminders, quote and invoice notices, payment reminders, and job-completion updates — through our messaging provider, Twilio.
Recipients can reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help at any time, and we maintain an opt-out list so they are not messaged again. We do not sell mobile numbers, and no mobile information (numbers or SMS consent) is shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
